The purpose of this not-for-profit blog is to demystify Monterey’s vast wine region, present and review wines, and share stories about interactions with local vintners and their wines. All information coming from other sources, such as the awesome Monterey Vintners and Growers Association, winery web pages, retailers and reviewers, are referenced within each blog.
About Me
Sharon is a wine aficionado with decades of first-hand knowledge exploring the many wineries, vintners, tasting rooms and wines of Monterey County. She is Wine and Spirits Education Trust Level 1 Certified and a Board Advisor to the Monterey Chapter of the American Wine Society. She shares her passion as a volunteer wine educator for wine classes locally, in Washington DC and in Northern Virginia.
